Tuition Assistance
"Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. Then there will be equality."
2 Corinthians 8:13-14
Faith Christian School seeks to provide financial assistance to families who demonstrate financial need. Our school uses an independent Christian organization, FFNA (Family Financial Needs Assessment) to determine how much a family should be able to afford. The FCS Tuition Assistance uses the FFNA recommendation, along with school resources available, in making award decisions. Normally, 10% of the school's operating budget is allocated for tuition assistance.
Families who wish to be considered for financial assistance must apply through FFNA, submitting an application and a $40.00 processing fee. Families are also required to submit an information sheet to the Faith Christian School Tuition Assistance Committee indicating an amount the family is able to afford.
It is recommended that a family wait until a student has been admitted before submitting an application to FFNA. A student must be admitted to Faith Christian School with a signed FCS Enrollment Contract on file for the family, before the FCS Tuition Assistance Committee can consider a request. A family may sign the contract with a contingency based on adequate financial assistance. If there are extenuating circumstances and the tuition assistance is not sufficient, an appeal may be submitted to the Financial Assistance Office.
Tuition assistance is awarded on a first-come basis. Existing families of Faith Christian School receive priority.
Families requesting information should contact Eleanor Wells, Director of Admissions, at 540-769-5200.
