"Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and STEWARDS of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found FAITHFUL." 1 Corinthians 4:1-2
The Annual Fund is Here!
What is it? The Annual Fund runs all year long, every year, and is a vital part of Faith Christian School's operations. Through contributions to the Annual Fund, we can purchase much-needed items such as textbooks, technology upgrades, instruments, and countless other necessities for the students. As well, we can hire more teachers to keep our ratios low, compensate our teachers appropriately, and improve our professional development fund.
Why do we need it? The Annual Fund is a necessity. Your student's tuition does not cover the expense of running the School, and, as a result, we are left with a "need" each year. This need must be met by fundraising (Project Faith, Kroger cards, etc.) and through contributions.
What is the difference between the Annual Fund and The Building Fund? Building funds go directly toward bricks, mortar, site preparations, etc., for the new school building. Once the money is raised for our new School, the Capital Campaign/Building Fund will end. The Annual Fund is a yearly need that supports the ongoing daily operations of the School.
What Should I Do? Pray. Pray that God will meet our goal. Ask Him how He would have your family give to the needs of the School.
How do I make a Gift? In November of each year, an Annual Fund Appeal letter is mailed to each family. Checks can also be mailed directly to the Development Office at the School. If you would like information on giving a gift of stock, please call the Development Office at 540-769-5200, #6.
Why should I Make a Gift? We believe that every person who is a part of this school., whether as a family member or employee, should support FCS. As a body of believers, it is our privilege and responsibility to give to the School though gifts of prayer, time and financial resources.
Our goal is 100% participation of all school families.
Gifts made to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Thank you for prayerfully considering a gift to the Annual Fund.
