Kathy Habeeb
College Counselor/History/Literature

Kathy Habeeb is the Director of College Counseling at Faith Christian School, and also teaches 9th Grade World History. She is the advisor for the Hi Y Club and the senior class. Mrs. Habeeb earned her B.A. in Social Studies Education from Syracuse University. She has taught in public schools in New York, in the "English as a Second Language" program in the adult education division of Virginia Beach Public Schools, and at Dayspring Christian Academy in Blacksburg. Mrs. Habeeb joined the staff of FCS in the fall of 2001.
She has three grown children -- Scott and his wife, Julie, and their four children live in Salem; Greg, and his wife, Christy, and their three children, also live in Salem; and Kristin and her husband, Michael, live in Alexandria. Kathy is privileged to have her mother living with her in Salem.
Mrs. Habeeb's hobbies, other than playing with her grandchildren, are traveling and reading! |
