Project Faith 2010
Welcome to our 9th year of Project Faith, Faith Christian School’s only school-wide fundraiser!
Over the last eight years, the students, faculty and staff and parent volunteers have donated nearly 12,000 hours of service to this community while raising over $681,000 for Faith Christian School. Last year, over 2,000 individual sponsors donated to Project Faith, and 42 businesses sponsored this event. We are very thankful to those who support this project and our students each and every year. It is truly a community effort.

3rd-5th Grade Project Faith at Roanoke Mountain Campground
We are looking forward to partnering with Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway to clear over 100 campsites for the spring camping season. There are leaves and more more leaves so send in several rakes (labeled with your name) if you have them - we will all be raking! We can also use wheelbarrows. Bring a 5 gallon bucket if you have it, work gloves, water bottle, snack and sunscreen if needed. 2 forms will be coming home to fill out for all children and adult volunteers. Please fill out and return to your child's teacher - these are required for participation. The Faith Christian Library now has a children's book on the Parkway called When the Parkway Came by Anne and David Whisnant if you want to learn more about this local treasure. PROJECT FAITH Morning Drop-off information:
· Parents, please drop off ALL STUDENTS before 8:00 a.m.
· YWCA drivers, park in upper level lot and stay with your vehicle – back into space
· Blue Ridge Women’s Center Drivers – park in lower lot in section blocked off with cones
· ALL lower school drivers – proceed to Celebration Church to await loading instructions. Your coordinators at the church will be wearing a neon vest.
Loading instructions:
· First, YWCA group will load and dismiss from school
· Second, Blue Ridge Women’s Center Group will be directed to load at upper level once Y group is gone
· Lower School drivers will be notified by coordinator when they are to return to school to pick up students.
· Third, K-2 drivers will load at lower level
· Lastly, 3-5 drivers will load at upper level
** If you have any questions, look for a person in a neon vest. There will be at least one in each parking lot**
